Uber has revealed its top trends of 2017 for the Indian market where the ride-hailing app has shared some insights about riders in the country. The ride-hailing app revealed that most Ubers, which also happens to be pre-Independence day Friday.
A very interesting insight from Uber says that a rider in New Delhi (and NCR) has taken the highest number of Uber rides, 1,969 trips in 2017 which is equivalent to almost 5 trips a day. Similarly, a female rider in Hyderabad took a record 1,162 Pool trips this year.

The two cities in India which saw the highest number of Uber Pool rides taken by riders in 2017 were Bangalore and Hyderabad followed by Kolkata and Delhi. The company says that uberGO was the most-popular product among riders across the country.

Uber saw an increase in the number of rides taken by Indians who took an Uber in 566 cities across 80 countries. "Indians love to travel, and so wherever they went, they preferred to book a ride using the Uber App. Riders from India took Ubers in 566 cities across 80 countries. The most popular travel destinations include the US, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK and UAE," the company said in a statement.
